King of the Hill.

I've watched is from premiere to finale atleast 5 times now.

Even after that I still pick up on small little jokes. It's a wonderful show.

If this thing had a create a fighter, import fighters/rings/belts and an online sandbox dynasty mode I'd be hooked.

I thought 2k23 was going to have that and was sorely let down. Still a fun game, but online/online dynasty leaves a lot to be desired.

Adult Swims programming from the exact same time you mentioned helped shape me into who I am now, lmao. What an awesome time for TV. I can remember sneaking downstairs to the TV to put on Space Ghost Coast to Coast. I didn't "get it" but I was very aware that I liked that type of dry humor.

Mulholland Drive.

Trust me on this...just put all technology away when you watch this and give it your 100% attention. One of the craziest movies I've ever seen.

Absolutely do not mess with meta. I'm here BECAUSE I don't want to be affiliated with them. Meta will RUIN this experiment.

Defederate, please.

Agreed. My phone tells me my usage time on it, and I used it for 5 hours less this week due to just not feeling like fucking with the official reddit app. I'm trying to keep it like that.

The official reddit app is pure garbage. Downloaded it to try to atleast have some semblance of normal, but it's just so bad. I Uninstalled it.

I'm using both. I have a few communities I'm growing and I'm posting as much as I can.

Reddit still is obviously more active, but I'm noticing that business is picking up here lately. Once it turns into a 60/40 or 50/50 in which one is more active I'll make the jump full time to Lemmy.

As a stupid 7/8 year old I couldn't figure out how to catch pokemon on red/blue. I just figured that if I kept playing the game I'd eventually acquire pokemon(similar to the anime). I wound up playing the entire game with a charizard and nothing else.

It was brutal. Imagine my surprise when my friend showed me his team of 6 pokemon.

I actually really like using Opera Mobile for Lemmy. Seems to work well for me, atleast.

For me, it would be when myself and a few buddies of mine decided to go camping next to a creek a few miles outside of a somewhat sketchy town.

This area was on my friends grandparents property, but his family allowed anybody that wanted to to use it, so we were sharing the space with a few families during the day. As the sun began to go down, we were the only 3 remaining people staying the night.

Throughout the night we had things thrown at us, including a bullet, rocks, and acorns. It started out far away and just gradually got closer and closer to us. We finally wound up leaving shortly after a large rock landed right next to our fire pit. We also heard something large splashing across the creek which made us run to our vehicle and go to a coffee shop until the sun came up.

Not an interesting story in writing, but we have no idea to this day what it was. Probably somebody messing with us but we never saw anybody while spotlighting the area. Very unnerving.

So let's hear your stories!
