Our city streets are rapidly being turned over to pedestrians, bicyclists, buses and special interests instead of being the purpose they were built and for which our tax dollars were spent.

This is a good thing. Outside of the special interests parts of referring to all the self driving cars.

Most people just use a package manager the vast vast majority of time. People don’t typically compile from source or figure out different file types.

  • The number of forced arbitration cases skyrocketed 467% in 2022.
  • Win rates for consumers and employees plummeted to just 0.7%.

A lot of my friends use partiful for event planning. Is there any open source or self hosted alternative to it? I checked alternative to and couldn't find anything, even alternative to evite or the like seems lacking.

I’ve used Arch, Pop_OS for gaming in the past, was looking for a distro that just works and doesn’t have any extra fluff or do anything nonstandard. (For example I don’t like that some programs will only update through the pop shop on pop os and not through the terminal.)
