Stop using your ISPs router and they're not going to have much control over it.

Fair enough, then I would probably go with something like the Shelly flood. All their stuff is ridiculously simple to setup and manage, some of it is even able to run without internet and only local WIFI.

If you want to do a little setup and config yourself, look in to home assistant and ZigBee sensors.

Weird, I'm using the appimage and it starts just fine...what distro are you using?

It's not dependent of circuit, things just need to be on the same phase. Our house uses three phases total, so power line adapters only work for 1/3 of the house here.

I don't have an issue paying ISPs to access pirated content either, that's the same as paying for Usenet access IMO. You're paying for network access for a lot of different things, pirated content just happens to be part of it. Paying a streaming service specifically for pirated content is vastly different from paying for general network access, even from an end user perspective.

The UI of Prusa slicer is hot garbage though. I started with prusa slicer and moved to orca after a few months. Orca is a much nicer experience, and the built-in test-models (temp towers etc.) are nice.

What issues have you had? Ive been using orca for about a year without any issues all. I'm running Mint, both stable and beta branch have been without issues for me.

Oh I don't care that the IP owner don't get money.

IDK, I just don't like the ethics of pirating media for profit, the entire idea is that it should be accessible to everyone, not just those with money. Cover your operational cost? Sure....Making millions in subscriptions? That is an asshole move IMO. If you're paying, you might as well pay the people who are making the media in the first place instead of some rando that had nothing to do with it.

"The group used “sophisticated computer scripts” and software to scour piracy services"

They used the basic tools that most(?) pirates use today like sonarr and radar??

I don't mind people pirating...i do mind people pirating and profiting from redistribution.

Just hope you're never involved in an accident, Dacias (both EV and ICE) have abysmal safety ratings.
