I hate to say it, but you're absolutely right. I love Ricciardo as a personality, but he's lost his mojo as a driver.

I still look at Reddit daily. There's insufficient niche content here for it to be a reddit replacement unless you're only into memes, linux, or radical left politics. I'll be happy to make the switch complete when there are communities active enough to replace the ones on reddit.
For sure, and I definitely lurk more than I post. In my case, I was hoping there would be a little more engagement, because it only take a few active people in a community for it to become self-sustaining. I'll keep at it!
I'm trying! I created a community for fans of professional/competitive cycling a month ago. Thirty subscribers so far, but only one single comment in the time, and it was pointing out an error I made (no complaint, it was a fair point). I'll keep at it for a while, but it's hard (and demotivating) trying to have a one sided conversation.
Nope. Years of experience hiding in the bathroom from my kids.

Ugh. Joe Rogan is what dumb people think a smart person sounds like.
I'd love to see a Fomula E race in person - it looks like they get pretty intense.
That will definitely make China a hub of F1 fandom, just like having all these races in the Middle East has done. /s
I think this nails the issue perfectly. It's a tough call on the right solution.
I think they'd be a quality addition to the grid. I appreciate the concern about the dilution of the prize pool, but wasn't that supposed to have been addressed by what was supposed to be a huge buy-in cost for new teams under the most recent concorde agreement? https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/articles/single-seaters/f1/what-is-in-the-new-f1-2021-concorde-agreement/
