A lot of these companies don't realize they're opening the market for upstarts willing to upseat them with better business models.

Only fear is the manipulation in the business world making this difficult for new ideas.

Democrats are terrified of setting precedents.

the first time this happened should've been human trafficking hard. but because they didn't it is almost consenting to it.

you're talking specifically from the insurance company's perspective.

the people running florida and likely others with wealth to influence them are aiming for more. the insurance leaving the state is part of that.

companies do not exist in a vacuum

they're trying to fix real estate losses from wfh stuff while also seeking to displace people from their strongest wealth asset

lol fuck off. I'm from Philly, I'm a line cook. This is my language if bad words make you unable to see a point or hear information tossed your way, that's your problem sister.

the thing is the amount of times i have heard this same silly irrelevant point brought up makes me think its smear at this point. so fuck china but lemmy should probably be more critical of the west especially with meta and twitter definitely making moves to discourage people from leaving

and if calling you a stupid itty bitty titty pussy baby makes that hard for you to hear cry about it?

imagine actually thinking bad words indicate anger

a player of mine would like to establish a new guild.

I've considered a few things, they probably have to establish a charter, have a few members before being fully established and recognized by the city.

I don't have any legislative knowledge though what else would they have to do? what would this process look like?

I've heard words like ward, charge, patron, master, champion?

But I don't think any of that is what I'm looking for. What are better terms for this kind of relationship??

So I'm gonna try to start running WDH and I'm confident with chapter 1 Finding Floon. I also think I know how to run the actual Eye Heist situations.

I'm wondering if what I have planned for chapter 2 is too much?

For anyone not familiar, at this point in the module PCs have ownership of a tavern and different factions are supposed to come interact with them to basically draw PCs into the fabric of the city.

The book suggests a few members of different fractions visiting, some quests and a potential rivalry situation.

I'm planning on doing a few faction quests but substituting a few for Heists from "Keys from the Golden Vault" as well as a potential tournament/holiday thing. I think this section could be like 12 sessions. Is that too thick for this module? Does that draw PCs too far from the initial campaign pitch and story?

I think it would be cool if we had a megathread for finding players / DMs or something. Also anyone starting a campaign soon?

classic question.

I know most people prefer 4 but I'm running an online game (Waterdeep Dragon Heist) and was curious how bad a six person online game might be?

Yo! Played TTRPGs for over a decade, wondering if anyone is scouting out some players for a campaign. I'm free most weeknights.
