I am interested in seeing how the decomp progress, especially when it's being accommodated by video blogs. It makes it way more interesting.
On a related note, I wouldn't mind to see Island 2 get the decomp treatment, but I think it might be better to do a P-06 type project and remake it.
I would rather get one of these AR glasses:
They are 10 times cheaper then the Vision Pro and look way better design wise. (Although you need a dedicated device to use it)

But I will probably really only use it for games. (Even then, I would really like something like the PS Move/Oculus Touch controllers) Imagine if I can actually capture HDMI signal into it.

This I think this might be the closest game to your needs.
I myself have been car-free for about a year now. I own a Lectric XP ebike, and if you can learn to ride on the road and plan your route, it's not too hard to commute via ebike, even in the states. Also helps is that there is a long bike trail that run throughout the metro area. In addition, the bus service in my city is very underrated and actually goes to places that people care about. So yeah, if you can operate an ebike, you can live car free.
I believe it has to do with the fact that the "shaking" animations are uncapped from the frame rate, so the animations play way faster then normal.
