When people complained about the BLM protests blocking traffic, I liked to reply with pictures of MLK leading massive marches down the street.
I'm not sure about school board because I don't think we vote for those where I am. I know they reach out to candidates that don't have easily found information and if the candidate doesn't respond the organization says so. It's really helpful for judges in particular because it lists all the ratings from various legal organizations.
I cannot recommend this organization highly enough. They provide nonpartisan information on candidates in every state for every election.
I'm not so sure. It's MUCH harder to avoid punishment after you are convicted. Michael Cohen got 3 years for the exact same crime, plus he pled guilty and agreed to testify for a shorter sentence. Obviously Trump will appeal, but it's entirely reasonable for the judge (who Trump has taken every opportunity to insult) to rule he must start serving his sentence while the appeal happens.
Can't pardon himself from state crimes.
As much as I wish Trump would trip and fall face first into a wood chipper, it's good that there is nothing stopping a felon from being president. It would be far too easy for an unscrupulous president to trump up (lol) a fake felony charge to block their competitors from office.
How funny would it be if Trump can't attend the first presidential debate in Georgia because he can't leave the state.
Now the judge who Trump has been royally pissing off the whole time gets to sentence him. If your justice boner lasts for more than 4 hours, please consult a doctor.
a giant underground storage tank
That's basically what groundwater is already.
The trick isn't storing it. The earth does that naturally. The trick is moving it where there isn't enough.
Don't plan too much because they are really the ones running the show. Just follow their lead.
I want to see him behind bars, but it would be almost as good to see him forced to do community service helping undocumented immigrants.
