It still looks lovely and yummy to me

It’s hard. And I feel like the older we get, the busier our days are and suddenly it’s been months since we last messaged each other. The time blindness and “out of sight, out of mind” definitely doesn’t help.
Fingers crossed! Mine’s very particular about her veggies too, although carrots and peas are the only ones she insists on being raw.
We’ll have to try this. E we do have a “brain break” when she gets home from school, but some kind of puzzle game to get her brain back in gear might be really helpful.
I like their flowers too. And the purple pods look really pretty along the green leaves
For the vegetable garden, our purple beans. They’re green beans with purple pods that turn green when cooked. My kid thinks they’re magic.
For our flowers, probably our anise hyssop. Or the frost aster that flowers when everything else is dying back for the winter.
We couldn’t be happier. And if you can afford to pay for a year up front, it’s only $15/line per month for unlimited data ($180 for the year). We just switched to that after using US Mobile for about 2 years. I wanted to be absolutely sure it worked before prepaying for an entire year.
Edit: Clarifying the price
Look into US Mobile. It runs on Verizon’s network (I think T-mobile too actually, you pick one or the other when you sign up). We have 3 phones sharing 12gb for $41 per month. You can also do a “top-up” of an extra 5gb for $10 if you’re running low one month, and it only charges for that month - meaning the next month they only charge you the 12gb plan.
Both rurally and in large Midwestern cities we’ve never had any issues with a connection. Which I did worry about them making us low priority since we’re piggy backing Verizon. But so far at least I haven’t seen it happen.
I have another example from work. Most if not all of the people I work with have personal boats, ATVs, etc, and so in their free time tow trailers pretty regularly. We also use trailers at work. Some college interns start working with us, and no one bothers to check their trailer knowledge because (you guessed it) it’s common sense. Which resulted in the college interns trying to drive a vehicle into the trailer when it wasn’t hitched up.
What the interns didn’t know is you want the trailer to be hitched to a vehicle so the front of the trailer stays in place when you’re putting weight on the back. Otherwise the trailer becomes a seesaw and the front end jumps up into the air.
My general rule is if you’re about to say something like, “That’s just common sense,” you should stop yourself. Common sense to whom? In my experience people call something “common sense” when it’s something they’re used to doing and they forget not everyone is used to doing it.
Those eyes 🥺
I’m sorry you found that. It must’ve been hard to read it and feel that betrayal. And I’m sorry your parents weren’t able to recognize your depression and instead made it into a character flaw.
Thank you for opening your home to him. It looks like he’s grateful too.
Also welcome to the orange club. They’re goofballs and we love them.
