This some breatharian level logic.

I've had most these for 1-2 years and love how crazy they look.

I thought it was just another leaf growing, but to my surprise it was a bloom stalk. It lasted less than 24 hours before expiring, and a second opened up. It's always cool to get surprise blooms!

They have guns, too. Thankfully firearms are federally regulated.

What happened "no taxation without representation" that the colonists fought for in the war of independence? Apparently it only applies to white people.

It used to mean any meal served cold. Later versions were encased in gelatin for better preservation, which contributed to the later post-war jelly salad recipes.

No response means the magic gibberish has worked, and rejection means that they move on to the next step of paper terrorism. When they wind up in court they further dig in. It's peak "us vs them" mindset.

Looks like my neighbour's cat, Crowley. If he's not off skulking in the bushes, he's yeowling loudly off his deck because he hates being limited to the house.

Other names include Cobra Chicken, Royal Canadian Air Force, or Shitbirds.

That is the exact park of my goose encounters, lol. It's oddly comforting to know I was not their only victim.

I wish you the best of luck in convincing them to leave. If you're successful, you must share your secrets.

Oh, I agree. I have far too many memories of being chased around parks as a child in Regina by them. I'm not saying they are wonderful creatures, rather that their legal protections limit what we can actually do about them.

Canada Geese are protected by the migratory birds act between Canada, US and Mexico. The only thing communities can legally do is take the eggs so they don't hatch.

It's like someone watched Iron Skies 1 and 2 and mistook them for documentaries. I keep waiting for them to praise Hitler riding a T-Rex.

Zone 8b

Varieties: Russian blue, white

Grown in potato planting bags for good drainage. They are in the process of flowering, and some have produced a fruit (very poisonous - do not eat it). Hoping for lots of potatoes this year 🙂

The floppy plants to the left are garlic (soft and hardneck Italian). They are fine; they got too tall and fell over.

Saw this guy chilling on my deck railing, and as soon as the camera came out, he struck this pose.

Not a social media post, so hopefully this is permitted. Canada is also home to sovcits, and this person is outright insane.

I also find it ironic that a sovcit wants a monarchy.

This floofy boi befriended me while on a walk around my strata. He's friendly and wants all the pets and scratches.

My lithops have been in various stages of splitting for the past few months. They have decided to show the process all in one pot! The potting medium is perlite.

I saved this plant from my office 6 months ago because it had nearly no leaves, and now she's green and growing in a unique way. If this is what healthy looks like, it's all good with me.
