God isn't real. This is verbal masturbation.

Instead of feces we throw ink around. Man is the statutory ape.

News report - Date unknown

In the early days of the war the Russian regime made regular threats to use nuclear weaponry, but most experts and lay-people believed that even that brutally sadistic despot would not go the extreme of destroying the earth to achieve his goals.

By 2024 Russia was doing small-scale ecocide in hopes of lending credence to their threats. Looking back, the poisoning of an entire riparian ecosystem connected to the Desna River in what was Ukraine should have been a clear signal of what was to come. But nobody listened and the nuclear weapons flew.

I am not making a joke here. This is where my brain naturally went when reading this. Let's just hope my invasive thoughts are wrong.

[Edit: I am also not saying to appease this fucking psycho either. This is just a snippet of thought that I felt the urge to share.]

15+ years working remote. I only turn my camera on when there are new vendors/clients on the call and it is my turn to introduce myself.

It's nice to be able to rely on having dog shit stupid takes from the same username all the time. Consistency is key. Keep it up.

I thought this growth pattern was weird, and on inspection it seems like it pushed up past a tiny root that is now choking it.

I was thinking of going out his morning to cut the root out.

What do the pros think?

Taken on a pixel 6.

Is there any way to be be 100% certain?

Taken this morning near Danford Lake, Quebec. I'm no mycologist, so I have no idea what these are. But I do enjoy taking their picture :)

Ok, you got me. These are from last year. But the mycelial networks are kicking into high gear right about now, and I'm getting antsy for some photo hunting.

I'm looking for a set of motorcycle saddlebags in the style of vintage horse riding gear.

Example below, but my 'perfect' version is quite a bit darker:

I rode most of my life without a windshield, but when I bought my Indian it had a windshield on it that I swore I would tear off the second I got home.

But then I realized that after an hour plus ride my eyes had not watered once, my ears weren’t having ghost ringing, and my arms were just not tired…

When I picked up this bobber I knew I would want a windshield. But justifying the expense took a bit.

I have been riding it for a month or two without a shield now, and I had to wear earplugs so that the wind noise doesn’t make my tiniitus go nuts. Today was the first real ride with the screen on. And holy cow. I love this bike even more now.

Details: It is a madstad 20inch touring screen made for a triumph speedmaster. I modified it to fit the bobber by drilling some new holes, but otherwise I used the hardware and fasteners that came in the kit.

I can post some pics of the fitment if there is interest.

This bike has been built and rebuilt too many times to count. I got it as a box of rusty parts when I was 15 years old, and have been working on it since.

I put thousands of KM on this old girl, but these days she spends most of her time resting. Other than a kick once in a while to hear hear rumble.

Right now I'm in the process of bobbing it with a bolt on kit. It will probably always come back to stock, but I have wanted to see it bobbed for 20+ years and didn't want to cut the frame.

This is the 2017 bobber I had when we lived in Switzerland. And my wife's 50th anniversary Vespa.

When we bought these nobody told me I couldn't bring them home to Canada. So when we came home we had to sell them both. I miss that bike every day. But recently got a new-to-me 2018 that I will mod until it looks just like that one.
