And Australians, being the spiteful stupid cunts we are, lap it up. This country will be better off when the Chinese take over.

"An asteroid is going to kill all of us!"

"The asteroid is a hoax, just Don't Look Up!"

We'll all be dead before the astroid gets here. Great movie though

Alternatively "The asteroid is coming, but we have still time to take measures against it" "Oh my, its faster than expected, we'll move swiftly!" They, in fact, did move swiftly their houses in remote islands. On top of mountains or other natural shelters

Be a fossile fuel company and lobby the government: Police protects you despite all the climate genocide.

Be a citizen paying taxes and protesting harmlessly to bring the government to action: "OMG U r dangerous! We need to protect ~~the companies~~ your fellow citizens from you!!11"

And before someone says, that the protests are ineffective Check this out.

Further, it is the use of radical tactics, such as property destruction or violence, rather than a radical agenda, that drives this effect. Results indicate the effect owes to a contrast effect: Use of radical tactics by one flank led the more moderate faction to appear less radical, even though all characteristics of the moderate faction were held constant

i'm starting to think they're not interested in permanent suppression, they're just buying time. After all, they're always been interested in short term profit. At this point they're just reproducing the system until we die by extinction
