Over the years, he's bought and sold homes all over the country. He's also reportedly built some — a Hawaiian doomsday ranch that has had many scratching their heads, for example.

Zuckerberg's real estate portfolio has an assessed value of around $200 million, according to Business Insider calculations based on property assessments.

However, the assessed value of properties can be lower than reported purchase prices (or current market value), so Zuckerberg's holdings are likely worth significantly more.

I guess it depends on where that acreage is, and who the target audience is for that article, because in my head I'm thinking 1200 acres is only like... 2 or 3 farm fields.

Well, he bought all 4 houses around his first palo alto house, which was about 43 million apparently.

The 1200 acres he owns are in Hawaii. They are all connected, and include 350 acres of beach. Ain't a feature most farms have, to be sure.

I didn't think anyone could own beach in hawaii, how is that possible?

lol i really missed out on everything. on a sub i made lmao its been like 3 years im surprised this thing has so many people

but yea mark zuckerburg owing over 1,200 acres of land and having a bunker in hawaii really makes you think what kind of things could happen in the future, i mean i don't know tho bc he is a bililionaire, but he also owns literally the biggest social media platform in human history.

Welcome back. :) I find things as I post and this is a good fit for some things. Lemmies are pretty good people and just go with the flow or bonk on the head the shitty people.

yeah its really surreal seeing the list of biggest communities on this site and seeing mine above others like iphone or something lmao over 1,000 people joined to my community i made when i was barely 14. incredible lmao i was probably one of the youngest people ever to join the fediverse. it's so amazing to see how many more people are here. i got suspended from reddit for 7 days bc i used an alt account so why not use this? (i promise i wont use an alt account here too lmao)

Don't forget that the community subscriber numbers only show the subscribers from your instance. So iphone might be much, much bigger than the number you're seeing. World has the most subscribers, but at least one of the admins is sketch, so I don't really do anything there. But they definitely have the most users, so check their numbers. Also, no one really cares if you use alts here. In the past, I've used 3 different instances because one or more was going down.

oh that is true. it is a good thing that you can use alts here. ill check world to see just how many people there are i think there are over 100,000?
