So weird seeing posts on the local groups from literally only a few blocks away of flooded roads when all our yard got was the H2O equivalent of salt bae sprinkles.

Only got a sprinkle of rain last night. But roughly 30 minutes away from me, a man drowned in flood waters.

I saw the radar last night before I went to bed and it looked like Beaudesert was getting smashed by rain. I thought it was gonna move north because of all the severe thunder storm warnings I was getting, but nothing.

Times like these are always too fast. One minute your enjoying a quiet day, the next your back in the chaos of work.

Full staycation this time, enjoying it, movies, games and a few social catch ups. Not bad overall
