I just had a willy willy come through. I didn't see it. I just heard it then the bin fell over.

My mistake. It was two bins cos it's double shot Tuesday.

Why aren't daily tasks as motivating as they are in video games.

Males of this thread, if you have a father in your life does he give you physical contact at all (i.e. hugs etc) and did it change or not change as you got older?

[โ€“] Force_majeure123@aussie.zone 5 points 7 months ago

I hug my dad on greeting and parting. It continued that way until adolescence, paused, and resumed at maybe 25 y.o

[โ€“] Duenan@aussie.zone 5 points 7 months ago

I still have hugs with my dad though he wasnโ€™t around for half my childhood.

Only when we either greet each other or say goodbye does it happen.

[โ€“] bull@aussie.zone 5 points 7 months ago

I do and he doesn't. We're not a very outwardly affectionate type of family and he's one one of those country town raised boomer types who doesn't go in for that stuff.

Of course!

Haven't cleaned the mouse balls in like forever.

After you take the ball out give the hole a good blow.

It meant help to apply some lubricant beforehand

Just got an email stating YouTube Premium price will double!! If I weren't using it for the family logins that would be a cancel....

[โ€“] Mittens_meow@aussie.zone 4 points 7 months ago (2 children)

It just went up a few months ago? Not again

[โ€“] Nath@aussie.zone 3 points 7 months ago

Nah, it's the same price rise. They emailed months ago giving us warning of the upcoming changes. They take effect next month.

We all share a single plan, though. Ironically, since the kids are starting to affect my feed and totally ruined my "2023 in review" report, I was toying with upgrading to the family plan - which is what @calhoon2005 is using. The single service is going up to about what the family plan was previously.

I'm thinking I'll wear the increase for now as I was planning on spending that amount anyway. I can't justify $33/month though. That's just insane. Maybe in a few more years when they turn into cave dwellers and want to listen to different tracks in their rooms simultaneously.

Those vintage big heavy chunks of carved ebony I've been buying make excellent bookends

Wow today was just a constant stream of people and node switching. Currently just sitting at my desk in the quiet working up the energy to go home.

I'm craving a chocolate ripple cake. I think it's gonna happen this weekend.

I have synced accounts and retrieved another 150 music albums. I'll get the other 100 tomorrow and will fix up the chapter headings for all the audio books. Move files and pictures and bookmarks and I'm done. Then I can erase and stomp that fucker of a puter into the ground before I chuck it in the recycle
