Why aren't daily tasks as motivating as they are in video games.
I can fix that for you! Write down your quests in a journal. Each time you complete a task strike it off the list whilst playing this off your phone, and obtain 2-6 M&Ms as XP (job depndant).
What if M&Ms aren't motivating ๐ฐ
pick another candy. Or get some marbles or something. Trade in 20-30 marbles for a bigger prize as you "Level Up"
I've taken to using an app (Habitica) for it that gamifies the whole affair, but even then, it's not quite the same.
Probably because daily tasks in video games are meant to be engaging and reasonably achievable, reality has no such restrictions.
