Those are the opinions of people around you. Traditional hippie bum/ pot smoker type wear something like that in movies in the 1990s. So people may look at you with that sentiment. If you don't care then just wear it. But keep in mind your gf opinion, maybe just don't wear it out with her.

My first instinct wouldn't be weed but you're going to get stares simply because it's not something people wear a lot (where I'm at at least). As others have said it'll be down to what you're willing to put up with.

I would. The llama is cool. I'm not particularly self conscious about my clothing these days.

Personally I live in an area with many hispanic and indigenous people and it makes me think of South America, not hippies. But who knows, I had green hiking pants and found out that many people thought I was walking around in wannabe military gear, so knowing the perceptions of your intended audience helps, especially when they're different than your own.
