And that's assuming each car carrying 4 people EVERY RIDE, which beraly happens IRL. It's mostly 1 man transportation device unfortunately.

While some drivers definitely deserve some hate, most of them didn't choose car-centric life out of free will.

Racism, transphobia, misogyny, ableism, homophobia, chauvinism, fat-shaming, body-shaming, stigmatization of people experiencing homeless or substance users, etc. are not tolerated. Don't use slurs. You can laugh at someone's fragile masculinity without associating it with their body. The correlation between car-culture and body weight is not an excuse for fat-shaming.

Stay on-topic. Submissions should be on-topic to the externalities of car culture in urban development and communities globally. Posting about alternatives to cars and car culture is fine. Don't post literal car fucking.

No traffic violence. Do not post depictions of traffic violence. NSFW or NSFL posts are not allowed. Gawking at crashes is not allowed. Be respectful to people who are a victim of traffic violence or otherwise traumatized by it. News articles about crashes and statistics about traffic violence are allowed. Glorifying traffic violence will get you banned.

To be fair, public transportation utilization is often much lower than its max capacity.
Not that much lower if we are talking peak times. It is also assuming though all cars have 4 people and while that's definitely about the average, things like minivans at least where I live are extremely, extremely common.
Still high enough, problem with that?
I understand your point but the graphic concerns capacity not utilization. All modes of transport can run at well below capacity. In recent times airlines were doing "dead runs" just to "keep their place" when covid restrictions greatly reduced the number of travelers.
Public transportation is available for all to choose to use it or not. Cars are essentially private, even when working as taxis, hence the owner chooses the utilization level. I don't think it a controversial claim that the average number of passengers per trip would be slightly above 1 for cars.
Sorry... the average people in cars are 1,3. So this should be 706 Cars...
