Not bad for just a bunch of episodes linked together

It was actually pretty cool! Some pretty intense action and set up for the endgame. I’m really curious how they are gonna do the final arcs

Looks like Tanjiro has a Homelander death face going on…don’t look that up.

I will never go to a demon slayer screening again. This is the second time I went to a movie and it was just episodes ive already seen. Japes.

It was pretty clear that's what was the deal since this arc released almost 2 years ago and they did this exact thing back then.

Didn't they release the movie before the show back then. I vaguely remember episodes coming out after the movie. Although I've been out of the loop on this series for a bit.

Yeah, this arc premiered in theaters. I didn't go, but after watching the first two episodes it really felt like it was basically a bait and switch. The first episode starts off with a very cinematic animation style but after the intro it reverts back to TV animation.

It was basically a reverse Mugen Train, which itself was a weird decision. They thought the arc was too short for a season so they made it into a movie, but then decided to adapt it as the first part of season 2 anyways. They basically cut the movie into episode chunks, and you can tell because the animation changes in the episode after the movie adaptation ends.

Well, and the one new one. But yea, that's why I didn't go. Mugen Train was worth it though. Whole arc before it came out in TV and it was on the big screen.
