“Welcome to the end of democracy!” Posobiec declared. “We’re here to overthrow it completely. We didn’t get all the way there on January 6th, but we will endeavor to get rid of it and replace it with this right here,” he said, holding his fist in the air. “That’s right, because all glory is not to government, all glory to God.”

When Democrats raise red flags about Republicans trying to end democracy, maybe listen, because Republicans aren't hiding it anymore.

Um, that isn't hyperbole or an exaggerated quote. Fucker actually said that during opening day of CPAC.

Steve Bannon, former White House adviser, is heard in the background exclaiming, “All right! Amen!”

The fact that every legitimate Republican didn't denounce them during the rest of CPAC means they are condoning this belief if not outright endorsing it publicly.

At this point anyone not doing everything they can to prevent Trump or other Republicans from gaining executive power is helping them and a traitor. We've long known this is what Republicans want. This is just the all-too-obvious cherry on top.

what the hell is a legitimate Republican exactly? They're ALL Nazi's.

You see, if it's a legitimate Republican, the body has a way of shutting down the bullshit so it doesn't get implanted in the brain.

I'm glad you're saying this and that OP posted it, I didn't have the heart to. It's so depressing that half our government (not half the people) are trying to make america authoritarian.

Holy shit. It does not get anymore brazen than this. He flat out called for the end of democracy. This is facsim plain and simple. This mimicks Hitler’s rise to power almost perfectly. Hell, even Texas is ready to roundup as many immigrants as possible and ship them out to god knows where. It’s sickening that this is what republicans and calling for when Trump wins the primary inevitably. Wake the fuck up people, this is happening.

It's been happening since the 1930s. It's far too normalized to get the response it should.

The party known for fearmongering about terrorism has itself become terrotist. It's their magnum opus of projection.

I guess it's something that these traitors are finally admitting that Jan 6. was a coup attempt. Not antifa, not a false flag by the FBI, not a little happy tour or whatever little ruse they come up with to deflect or justify it. At what point does this become treason? Do his followers have to try to take over an army base or something?

No level of action is beyond the far right's ability to concoct a flimsy excuse that only makes sense to them.

That fellow needs to appreciate that when the entirety of the criminal justice system fails to stop them, the rest of us are a Go.

Actually, Merrick could do with some appreciation of that as well.
