I'm looking for an app or setting that removes nsfw material from my stream, even those blurred pics. I'd like to keep my nsfw activities strictly on a separate account. Any advice is welcome.

Oh, one more thing. Can I blur/unblur on a per account basis?

Lmao, instance checks out.

You can turn off "Show NSFW" in your Lemmy settings.

I remember when signing up I was asked if I wanted NSFW content, so maybe check your profile/settings?

bruh, why did you create an account at lemmynsfw then?? You could have created an account at any instance and still gotten access to all the titties your heart desires.

On a serious note though, you should be able to change the option of displaying NSFW content from the settings page after clicking your username.

Yeah I remember asking me if I wanted to show NSFW when I signed up but I don't see a setting in the wefwef web app I'm using.

I'll use one account for both, I like to live dangerously!

I like to live dangerously!

You must not be married with the wife in the room and kids around?

[–] SubsAndDubs@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Haha! I'm just joking, I am actually married and have two kids, plus in a two bed apartment so personal space is very infrequent around here, so I have to be super careful.

Connect (on Google Play) has the ability to toggle NSFW between shown, blurred, and hidden.

I’ve also been trying to understand this! I’m on wefwef and maybe I need to look at settings in the web instead.

I’d love to hide channels (or whatever the subreddit equivalent is called)… no interest in seeing boobs, etc in my feed.

I turned on “hide NSFW” in memmy and am still seeing NSFW posts. Tried logging out/in and reinstalling the app but neither fixed the problem. Any suggestions?
