This is the best and when i say the best i mean the bet file manager you can have on android . Like it has everything a good file manager should have and is really stable . I don't think i have ever been more impressed by a piece of software or promoted it as much as i do this . All i am saying is it is the peak for android it has various compression/extract options built in can work with root , have a text editor . Etc. Etc . No file manager i have used ever has even came close .

Good recommendation! Built in FTP server is very cool, hope it is expanded to SFTP soon tho :)

There is one specific feature I dearly miss and that is a batch rename function, especially when connecting to a network drive. Emphasizing that second part since last time I brought this up, someone recommended Ghost Commander for batch rename, but that one only does it for local files.

Fossify File Manager (formerly Simple File Manager) has this functionality. I haven't tried it with networked drives, though.

Thanks, just tried it with keyfile authentication for SFTP and it worked like a charm.
