https://mapcomplete.org/ is an easy-to-use website to view, edit and add points (such as shops, restaurants and others)

They changed the license from LGPL to MIT when they aquired, it was in their blog:

With LGPL they would have to publish changes.
Thanks, this makes sense now. Unfortunately, the code is now closed source which means there are no open source street level imagery platforms for OSM that I'm aware of with mobile apps.
You can just take photos with any app, than upload it from a computer with the kartaview uploader, which is still foss: https://github.com/kartaview/upload-scripts

Honestly I don't know but I would use F-droid if it bothers you.
It's not on F-Droid because it's now proprietary.
