i love Kim Wexler and her feet from the hit television show, Better Call Saul, created by Vince Giligan and Peter Gould.

Between Neo from RWBY and Toga from MHA, I'm starting to think I have a type...

Wtf is this gen z slang "simping" just use the real words ffs

[–] Worx@lemmynsfw.com 7 points 9 months ago

What is the meaning of the colloquialism, "slang"? Please use the King's English at all times.

Also, you literally used the Internet to send your comment so just head over to your favourite search engine and type in "define simp". Unless the aim of your comment was to look like a dick, in which case congrats you did it

Ironic that you say to use real words, yet you use slang initialisms frequently. But it's fine, because those are things that you understand. It's only a problem if people younger than you say stuff that you personally don't understand yet, right?

It's not gen z, it's incel language.

I'm 36.

Did you figure out how to translate "simping" into English yet?

No?

[–] discostjohn@programming.dev 2 points 9 months ago

Yeah, dude. "Simp" is a pretty common word on the internet which just means rooting for something that doesn't necessarily need rooting for.
