Awesome, thanks!
Patient Gamers
A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

You're welcome, hope it turns out to be useful!
Subscribed - great idea 😁
I'm always missing those offers. This will help.. but I'll still miss offers tbh lol
Ah well, if it even helps you get one game you enjoy then it'll be worth it!
You could subscribe to the rss feed
I know rss has been around but I have no idea what it is
tl:dr; rss is a standard format for updates (think title, description, link). Think about rss updates as emails and an rss reader as an email inbox
How and where do you subscribe to rss?
You can use one of the bunch of RSS feed readers to do that. I haven't use it for years (basically since I lost everything I had on Google reader) so I cannot recommend you any apps
I tried subscribing to the RSS feed and it loaded the initial content but then never updated, have you had better luck with this or is it a bit buggy in general?
Meaning like posting the offers for free games on gog and the weekly ones on epic? Sounds great
Yeah pretty much! There's a sticky post with all the places I usually check, my plan is to basically post whenever I check and see anything new.
Good idea; I'm in.
FYI there's already an active freegames @ lemmy.ml
lemmy.ml has been defederated by many instances.
!freegames@lemmy.ml
Doesn't work in Connect for Lemmy!
Cheers, though it doesn't look that active. I guess we can see if one becomes dominant!
I used to subscribe to r/freegames so this rocks! Thanks for creating it!
Awesome. Thanks!
Awesome idea, joined!
