Our Rules:
-
Keep it civil. We're all people here. Be respectful to one another.
-
No sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia or any other flavor of bigotry. I should not need to explain this one.
-
Must be tumblr related. This one is kind of a given.
-
Try not to repost anything posted within the past month. Beyond that, go for it. Not everyone is on every site all the time.
-
No unnecessary negativity. Just because you don't like a thing doesn't mean that you need to spend the entire comment section complaining about said thing. Just downvote and move on.

Any time I start music in the car, I ask my phone to play something embarrassing. That way, if it plays some Wax Fang or Flobots, I can be pleasantly surprised, and if it plays Sorairo Days or Just One Life, I can say it's exactly what I asked for
This deserves its own post
I used to feel uneasy shame sharing certain music that I liked. I think it's a matter of self-acceptance and loving yourself.
I know that my musical taste is esoteric. I no longer feel any embarrassment sharing my weird music with people. I don't have a new feeling in its place. The shame just disappeared.
This may not apply to you. But if it does, work on loving yourself. You can get there.
