This is a collection of resources on the topic of managing a digital community. Contained are methods for building institutional knowledge, strengthening bonds within the larger social web, and building a space for like-minded people.

NOTE: this wiki is very Lemmy/Fediverse centric but hopes to someday compile more general knowledge.

Remember, federation for small/new communities is finicky and this is a project targeting a small audience. Federation will eventually improve as the project advances.

Have you just created a community (or undergone some major revamp)? Consider posting in one of the following places.

Posts to adjacent communities are also useful. Particularly if your community fills a totally separate purpose. Please do not make posts on competing communities. If you are not sure, it is a good idea to reach out to the other moderation team before posting.
