As a Huntress players, I find there are 2 things that annoy me the most, that I would love improved:

  • When the Spirit Hawk dies (expires, no enemy present) while sleeping, I very much want to wake up, similar for wards getting sniped by ranged enemies
  • Often enough especially when farming I want to repeatedly shoot in the same direction at an enemy I can't see. I'd love some convenient way to shoot "same aim as previous shot" repeatedly when there is no visible enemy.

if i read the changelog of 2.3.0 correctly, your first point seems to have been addressed

I did update and continued farming on a save where I have the hawk, and I most certainly don't seem to wake up.

Either I need a new save or it doesn't quite work

I think at least the second point is basically by design so that one uses the talents that give you better sight. Otherwise you could completely ignore torches as a Huntress.

Not really. Torches etc. let you spot an enemy, my suggestion is to then let you easily blast one if it's coming at you in a straight line, through a corridor etc. You still need to spot the thing first AND make the first shot manually if you spot it in some way other than torches/sight
