BookWyrm is a fediverse alternative to Goodreads. It's pretty good but I don't use the social aspects, just for book tracking.

FunkWhale is the ActivityPub music sharing / playlist making bapp.
Oh wow - that looks interesting. I've been investing a bit of time recently getting into musicbrainz/listenbrainz - now I'm torn.

Not fediverse but also good thing, try meshenger https://github.com/meshenger-app/meshenger-android and yggdrasil https://yggdrasil-network.github.io/ i mean in times of network going down this mesh based technologies are truly helpful
[I recently found out about Owncast] (https://kbin.social/m/fediverse@lemmy.world/t/744984) for something like Twitch.
For Matrix you could also say "better than Discord".
