What a bizarre title. Sure, AMD might not be releasing as many refreshed cards as Nvidia this month, but that doesn't matter. The only thing that matters for consumers is price/performance, and both AMD and Nvidia are still overpriced.

A better title would be "don't buy a GPU right now", since the refreshes will hopefully trigger price cuts from both AMD and Nvidia.

And yeah, "fuck you" Nvidia for not releasing working Linux drivers.

The content of the article is essentially "wait 2 weeks; don't buy a GPU now." So, weird that the title is different.

Used AMD 6000 series GPUs are competitively priced

For just a few hours, the XFX Merc310 AMD 7900 XTX was $800 US, sold by Amazon (not a seller on Amazon, but Amazon themselves).

Hopefully, more price drops will be more common in the coming weeks.
