A lot fewer than I used to be! Subscriptions == notifications, and I've been really focused on rooting out unnecessary notifications everywhere I can. At one point, the number was in the several hundreds before I realized just how ridiculous it was to believe I could keep up with that much video content.

Yeah same here I have way too many. I couldn't check on the mobile app but I scrolled through and it went on for like 30 seconds lol. The funny thing is that I only watch like 3 of them somewhat consistently
I probably watch like 10 consistently and then I occasionally rotate through my massive list haha.
12 subscriptions. But I really only keep up with 3 if them. I watch every video they put out.

Oh, Primitive technology is a good one! One of my favorites. I SO want to buy a piece of land, strip down to my underwear, and dig a shelter out of the dirt. Maybe make a kiln out of clay.
112 for me. I think a lot of them are dead and I go through and purge periodically. I really wish there was a way to organize your subscriptions in YouTube. I want a folder with the ones I actually watch and another with all the channels I subscribed to so I wouldn’t forget about them, or when I was briefly really into the history of barcodes (or whatever). I guess I could do two accounts, but I’d never keep up with it.
too many to bother filtering it. I use freetube to maintain subscriptions and that is apparently starting to creep to 400.
Mine was almost 1000. Now I made a new google account only for YouTube and turned the watch history on without subscribing to any channels. Let's see how long I can hold it.
It's the 193 unwatched in my watch later that stress me out :)
this is why I have given up on my watch later so if I don't watch it that week I probably ain't gonna watch it or remember to watch it lol
I basically treat my watch later list as a general slush for stuff before it lands in a playlist and as an actual watch later list.
It's messy and I'm proud to say it finally dipped below 1000 videos in it recently.
Oldest video in mine is 4 months, There will be some space somewhere to watch it eventually. probably 3 minutes before I realise I don't like it!
How do I find this? I thought it would be as easy as clicking on the subscriptions tab, but I don’t see it.
I'm on a laptop, mobile is probably different.
On my homepage it says subscriptions, but it's links to videos.
Instead look at the top left of the page and click on the "hamburger" (3 stacked lines) to the left of the word YouTube.
Then look along the left hand side for subscriptions and it will list the channel names to which you're subscribed.
Manually count those and add in the "show 13 more" at the bottom of the list or whatever your additional number is.
