Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Ron DeSantis endorsed her for school board partly on the basis of her anti-LGBTQ+ activism.

A prominent Florida Republican, state GOP chair Christian Ziegler, is the subject of a criminal investigation for sexual assault. The man’s wife, Sarasota County School Board member Bridget Ziegler, is one of the co-founders of the anti-LGBTQ+ extremist group Moms for Liberty. The accuser is a woman who said she had sexual encounters with both Bridget and Christian Ziegler.

A woman filed a complaint with police on October 4, alleging that she was sexually assaulted in her home by Christian Ziegler on October 2. The report, which was obtained by the Florida Trident, is mostly redacted.

If there was a book with that title it wouldn't be allowed because it would be about how conservatives are hypocrites.

The sources also said that investigators searched Christian Ziegler’s phone and found that he secretly recorded video of the three-way sexual encounters with the woman and his wife.

Lordy, there are tapes.

There always are.

Religious polygamy is often the result of conservative patriarchal rules, if that's what it was then I'm not any more shocked she's conservative than I am about Mormons.

But do sister wives generally sleep together? I’m sure it happens, but I’d be surprised if it’s an accepted practice.

I believe it's referred to as a "harem"

[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

That's why we've all gotta do our part before the fascists get to 'em! (Just, everyone else's, please. Don't make it weird.)

[–] nucleative@lemmy.world 30 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Turns out there's not much monogamy in the bible. These people oughtta read it some time.

[–] Telorand@reddthat.com 13 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Why read it, when you can just have somebody tell you what it says and totally not make it up wholecloth!

Just read this book written 2000 years ago and choose your own adventure on how to navigate modern life. Surely this won't end poorly.

Isn't "MFF three-way" redundant?

[–] lolcatnip@reddthat.com 11 points 11 months ago

You need some kind of noun there to be grammatical and to clarify what "MFF" means for people who don't immediately think of group sex.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 7 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Not necessarily, I’ve had FFF ones, and I know people who’ve done MMM and MMF

[–] Drivebyhaiku@lemmy.world 5 points 11 months ago

Don't forget the two gents and a non-binary sex positive asexual side who serves snacks. The elusive "MMA"

[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com -5 points 11 months ago

Those are all threesomes, hence the rhetorical question

[–] Landmammals@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) (1 children)

It's redundant in the same way that "Phillips head screwdriver" is redundant.

[–] Drivebyhaiku@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

I take it you are not Canadian. I have to swap my picquik from Phillips to Robertson and back again on average about 30 times a day.

[–] siban@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

No it could be an mfd or mmm or fff threeway or an MFF tee party. The MFF just discribes the constellation the three-way describes the happening.

[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com -3 points 11 months ago

The full quote is "sexual MFF three-way", but keep redditing with the rest of 'em, kiddo. As long as you find fulfillment in it, I guess it's doing some good for someone?
