For people who watched it, how was the first one?

I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I really enjoyed it. I haven’t read the source material and don’t know how faithful to it it was, but the show holds up very well on its own. Looking forward for Season 2!

I had written off the IP after thrones ended so poorly and I haven't read the source material for this show, so I didn't go into season one with very high expectations. It blew me away, I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to season two.

Just praying I don't get hurt again...

Only reason I gave it a chance was that the source material was complete and considered well written, and having read it after season 1 I can confirm show should be in good place. Even if it isn't I don't care, since unlike Game of Thrones the source material is actually available.

Pretty good and then it ended on a cliff hanger so I finished it through the book instead of waiting around for 2+ years. Book was very good.

I had to read the book because I couldn't wait for the series
