Looked like a catch and "football move" to me. Touchdown! Go blue!

[–] ToasterOverlord@fanaticus.social 4 points 11 months ago (2 children)

I would love a back and forth, but at the end of the day GO BLUE

I developed a deep hatred of Michigan like 10 years ago when I went to a bar in Dallas to watch the Red River Rivalry game. There were a bunch of Michigan fans at the bar and they were the most bougie and douchy fans I've ever dealt with. I'm sure that's not all Michigan fans, but man they left such a bad impression, I've actively routed against them like they are TAMU or OU.

My dad and grandfather went to Michigan so I grew up as a fan (obviously I became a Texas fan when I went there). I almost went there myself, so take my 2 cents with a grain of salt.

I understand that a lot of Michigan fans probably seem stuck up to neutral observers, but I feel like many flagship schools (including Texas) are in the same boat. Plus, Texas and Michigan were struggling for so long recently I feel a sense of solidarity between the two programs. They even have their OU (OSU) and A&M (MSU)

I’ve had a similar experience with Michigan fans. But also with tOSU fans lol. So the cheating tips the scales for me this year and I’m hoping the buckeyes win it. Not gonna say I’m actually rooting for them though haha

Maybe I need to go meet some OSU fans so I can be a neutral observer again.

Punting is winning

Really wish the broadcast was quiet at the end so we could take in the atmosphere with Mr. Brightside

Glad they got it on 4th down. That would have been a load of bs.

[–] TheCelticPirate@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

Big hole opened up for Corum! Way to step up O-line!

[–] cmbabul@fanaticus.social 3 points 11 months ago

I ain’t got a dawg in this fight but it’s bound to be salty as fuck this year

[–] TheCelticPirate@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

That's a win for America's team!

[–] ToasterOverlord@fanaticus.social 3 points 11 months ago

Okay, now I can call McCord a turnover machine!

Harrison played as soft as his coach there!

[–] PaleBlueSpot@sh.itjust.works 2 points 11 months ago

I wonder what Gus Johnson would sound like calling a tball game...

[–] ToasterOverlord@fanaticus.social 2 points 11 months ago

Airborne Corum for the 4th down conversion! That's the real attack through the air

[–] ToasterOverlord@fanaticus.social 2 points 11 months ago

Man, I so wanted that to be another pick! I want to proclaim McCord is a turnover machine

[–] TheCelticPirate@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Interception! Let's go blue!

[–] ToasterOverlord@fanaticus.social 2 points 11 months ago

Only Wolverines are allowed to make 50 yard FGs in the Big House

[–] TheCelticPirate@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Can't be helping Ohio State with 15 yard penalties.

[–] TheCelticPirate@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

This game isn't good for my heart! Come on defense. One last stop!

Ryan Day has the biggest boost from a beard of anyone I've ever seen. Dude should never, ever be clean shaven.

[–] TheCelticPirate@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Michigan is doing well at eating this clock up.

[–] Iampossiblyatwork@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

That was a great game. Mccarthy threw some absolute dimes. His biggest accomplishment was that he didn't make any big mistakes.

Loveland had an absolutely incredible game. So did Johnson.

Now that was an amazing run by JJ
