Wow, I didn't think Argentina's economy could get any worse but hey... let's throw some libertarianism in there and see if we can unseat Zimbabwe for the record!

Guess it's time for Argentina to issue a new currency.

Sovereignty over monetary policy is extremely valuable and dollarization will simply trade one problem for many others.

Argentina has been economically screwed for decades, switching to USD entirely or pegging their currency to the US dollar will probably not change too much one way or another. From what I understand this won't happen any time soon - if at all - considering the state of their economy and the fact that it would be an unpopular move with most people, at least in the short term.
