I didn't know the game, so I had to look it up, but according to this article it could very well be what she wanted.

At one point after a girl confessed her feeling towards her brother, she pressured her brother into helping her "give the girl a lesson". Ashley and her brother locked the girl inside a chest, but due to her asthma the girl ended up dying inside the chest. !<
