Well I'd be lying if I said this didn't worry me about the future of Moog.
I wouldn't say any of the InMusic brands have fared particularly well post acquisition
A place to talk about how we organise ourselves.

Akai is it really. Apparently you can't stand in the way of Capitalism.
Can't remember who bought Sequential, are they any better?
That was Focusrite (who also own Novation). I think the jury is still out on that one, wasn't it only a year or so ago?
I did think about akai, but honestly even that is starting to feel a bit past it's heyday
Yeah it was recent. Novation have been killing it though so fingers crossed for Sequential.
Akai do seem a bit stale but MPCs get a lot of love.
I've been impressed to see the amount of development they've put into the Force. I bought one and returned it way back in 2019 when I realised it didn't do disk streaming, but I see they've added that and a lot more since. They definitely seem committed to expanding its functionality at least.
Interesting, I always thought it was pronounced Moog.
😂
Let's hope whoever signed off on this from Moog's side vetted the contract carefully and made the right demands to maintain their autonomy. If it really is a strategic move to use InMusic's supply chain and distribution resources, and not done out of desperation, it could plausibly be a good thing.
I’m keeping my Matriarch Dark now instead of selling it.
