My reddit name became known to a couple of my friends during the 10 years I was there and I want the total anonymity again.

I considered it, but I liked the idea that I could actually pick something short and (semi)sweet instead.
Plus, new start and all that.
I updated.
I changed my username that I use on most things about 6 years ago. But I've been on reddit for 12, so it had the old one.
I am using the same username, though not the same display name (as most of these don't have a display name option). Only fitting.
I made one reminiscent to my old username but figured Iโd do a fresh start with a new account.
My user name is just too cool to not reuse!
