Can you give me the link I should use to subscribe from another instance? The search feature is so confusing

That only works if you're subscribing from lemmy.world though.
Anyways I found out how to do it. You go to https://{INSERT LOCAL SERVER NAME HERE}/c/dark_souls@lemmy.world
Yeah, paste it into the search box with the ! included. You may have to wait several minutes for the search result to show up. I dunno exactly why, I'm new here too :p
It'll also take some time as your instance learns about it and syncs with the remote instance. After its done, it'll show up in the search
I'm having trouble reaching it from my home server (beehaw), maybe because it's so new? As someone who was not subbed to the darksouls subreddit, is it focused on DS1/2/3 discussion, or does it also extend to Eldin Ring, Sekiro, or even other soulslikes?
I do see there's a darksouls community on lemmy.ml, but it seems pretty small for now: !darksouls@lemmy.ml
