Is anyone using apps for Lemmy and can make some recommendations? (Sorry if this isn't the right community for this post)

There is only Jerboa (with Lemmur being broken and abandoned). But you can install the PWA webapp in your mobile browser and that works quite well. Not sure if Lemmy supports web-push already though.

For iOS, Aside from mlem, there is also the Memmy app in development, but the beta is full right now.

For Android, aside from Jerboa, there is Connect, which I can say works well.

edit: Some Android users are saying they like Thunder and Liftoff apps too

Jerboa is great on Android. Not RIF great, but pretty great.

It looks like for iOS, the mlem app is in development. I think they mentioned a target of July 1 for release.

You can try mlem beta already, via the testflight app and a google search. Seems to be working great.

Thanks! Someone shared the TestFlight link here in a comment response, and I was able to get it installed. Brings back memories of when I used to have an iPhone app people used, and I used TestFlight for testing when it first came out. Ahh, good times.

Anyway, from what I can see so far, mlem looks really, really good, and has a lot of promise.

I’m currently using it (TestFlight) and this far I have no complaints. It’s stable and have most core functionality implemented
