The home office implications of this hardware are great. My home office has just $2500 in monitors and hardware to hook those monitors up to my computer - and an extra $700 in the standing desk. It's not that big of a stretch for this to be a common option among tech companies that typically grant their employees high-end equipment.

The sketches during WWDC where the guy took pictures of his kids with this on were... unsettling. But I don't think that's actually the target market or use case, just a possibility for use.

I want mixed reality to be fantastic, but until I see it is fantastic I don't trust it because the hype has dramatically outpaced the reality.
