Beautiful melodies and orchestration. The Dear Hunter tells a 5 album story from start to finish. If you like music with a story check them out, they have a ton of repeated motifs across the 5 acts which reward relistens and connect into the storyline. You can look up the story online if you wanna know whats going on.

Man haven't listened to the dear hunter in forever. Never really made it past the color album/EPs with them but think I gotta get back into it!

The song i posted was the one that introduced me to the band about 4 or 5 years ago now.

they've recently put out a new album with a new story not connected to the 5 acts, setting up the foundation for whats to come. Ring 1 - Tower was my favourite track off of that album, but generally my favourite act is either 2 or 3.

Act IV is my favorite TDH album, but the new one, Antimai, is really good as well. Bodes well for the future, as it's mostly setting the scene, both musically and lyrically.
