I believe you are correct but only because insects (among others) and unborn babies can't read.

Can I ask you to elaborate? I can't fathom why it would be but people seem to agree with you. Breathing from your diaphragm is good for you.

Sure! It's just a silly perception thing. Logically I know where the diaphragm is and how it works (roughly lol), but the simpler part of my brain wants to believe that breathing just makes my lungs/chest expand forward. Not sure if that helps at all lol

I've tried this. Definitely don't recommend putting a huge nail in your chest though. It'll be a nail in your coffin for you.

Actually I was born with collapsed lungs, but I was still alive for like 2-3 minutes.
