Multiple times lately I've gotten 502 Bad Gateway when trying to access the instance. It is then back to normal after a minute.

There's the influx of users, like myself, but those are only in the few hundreds from the numbers that is displayed.

One of those 502s was me power-cycling the server. The site may get hung up, because of the increased traffic, but resolves itself after a minute or two.

We are, currently, in talks about bringing in another systems administrator. So, between the two of us we should be able to figure things out.

Hope you figure something out, because connectivity has taken another deep dive lately.

It's the Reddit hug of death...it will clear up eventually.

it's almost certainly the influx. we're really not running this operation with sophisticated technology on the backend--mostly to keep costs down, but also because we've never really needed anything else and are willing to just hang with that.

now that we have more user support though (and as mentioned, are talking with someone) if we need to upgrade to accommodate this surge, we'll likely be able to

Well I signed up for monthly donations, so you can add a couple more potatoes in your serial.

Much appreciated! The more donations we get the sooner we can look at what's financially stable to do in terms of upgrading our infrastructure.

Same, and a larger one-time dono to help with this bump
