Fuck it, we'll do it live!

[–] EvilEyedPanda@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

As a musician this is both the best, and worst thing to hear!

“I’m gonna regret this in the morning/immediately”

“Hey babe wanna see me do something stupid”

“I’m an engineer I know what I’m doing”

“It’ll be cheaper if I do it myself”

“How hard could it be”

“One more won’t hurt”

“Worst case scenario I die”

My personal favorite is just simply "fuck it".

Follow up afterwards: it is what it is

[–] thisisnotgoingwell@programming.dev 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Gotta risk it for the biscuit

No idea why or when I heard it but I like the risk/reward nature of it

"Fuck it" is the objectively correct answer.

[–] runeko@programming.dev 11 points 1 year ago

"Witness me!"

[–] ouRKaoS@lemmy.today 11 points 1 year ago

One more won't hurt

[–] iminahurry@discuss.tchncs.de 10 points 1 year ago

What's the point in making money if I can't buy shit I want!

[–] Omega_Jimes@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 year ago

Sounds like a problem for future-me!

[–] sigh@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

It is what it is

[–] asg101@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

I talked to my ex...

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.ml 8 points 1 year ago

"Gotta die sometime!"

also

"It is a good day to die"

The latter was originally inspired from Little Big Man, not Star Trek as you'd assume.

We do not do it because it is easy, but because we thought it would be easy!

[–] Secret300@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 year ago

Only one way to find out.

No matter what the outcome is always say "calculated"

[–] Colour_me_triggered@lemm.ee 7 points 1 year ago

After careful consideration, I believe this is the least damaging option.

Hold my beer...

Also on a serious note coming from life is short quote, anything you thought it was a recent event check that again. I broke up with my fiance and it feels like I did it last year it has been 11 years. I lost my parents and it feels like it was yesterday it has been 9 years. I gave up and left everything behind and it has been 6 years. Don't get caught off guard when life slaps your in the face while you think you're some hot young person who has all the things in the world.

Fuck it, WE BALL

Also it is not bad decision, it is high risk investment.

[–] sagrotan@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

"what's life without spontaneity?!" " The entropy, think of the entropy!" Or very popular "After such a long bad streak, the possibility that the odds are in my favor this time HAS to be high!" Edit: "watch me"

[–] Pot8o 5 points 1 year ago

[–] HowManyNimons@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

Fus ... Roh ... DAH!!

[–] PeterPoopshit@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

Hold my beer and watch this

[–] Floey@lemm.ee 5 points 1 year ago

What's the worst that could happen?

completely rhetorical, doesn't actually consider what could go wrong

[–] ryathal@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 year ago

If no one comes back in time to stop me it can't be that bad.

[–] arboc66@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 year ago

In for a penny, in for a pound!
