Ah yes another day of commercial services on the web getting worse. I didn't even know that google doesn't even honor "" anymore. DDG doesn't accept "" to search for exact terms now as well. Fuck this.

it would appear they have an explanation for all this on github, although i don't use DDG so i cannot speak to how useful it is

Thank you for the link to the GitHub issue! I've found that the article I've linked has also been updated with mention of the issues with the search filters.
