Must we live in permanent crisis to experience joy?

I almost think so, except it must be emotionally acceptable crisis. My emotional capacity has increased lately, so bring on the crisis and the joy. I fscking love it.

I know I tempt fate with that call because, at times of lower capacity, joy would have overwhelmed me.
