Imgur won’t let me upload on mobile and even after getting the app it’s trying to force me to sign in. No thank you imgur. I do not wish to provide you with my phone number.

Can you upload images directly off your phone without any hassles? Or does that burden Lemmy’s hosting/cost them money (idk but you know what I mean)

Also can that dox you with metadata or something

And does Lemmy own your image then

When you make a post or comment a row of icons come up above. If you select the 5th one (the little box) it takes you to your photo gallery. Select a pic and press done. It brings you back to your comment and does a spinny thing then some jargon. Press preview below.

@Nath@aussie.zone might be able to answer the rest of your questions.

Going to make today my 1) try and catch up on my knitting, now that I'm working I've fallen behind on my temperature blanket, though I don't think I'll catch up to September/October by today because man this blanket is long and I'm in July. 2) Pack for PAX. Obviously I live in Melbourne so it's not like I'm taking a plane, but it's much easier to book a place in the city where it takes maybe 5 or 10 minute walk to the Convention Centre than coming from home when I have early morning starts.

Where's the best pie bakery you can think of within a couple of hours drive of the CBD?

Closer to home, I know the South Melbourne Bakery does a good one.. I could just go down there I guess.

These people are good. I go to the one in Queenscliff sometimes: https://www.rollingpin.com.au/

They even won a few made up bogus awards. They are good pies though.

little further afield, but the Glenrowan bake house does a killer beef and jalapeño. Probably call before you go. Or not. It’s really about the journey innit?

Break time MOOPSY EP

Just finished watching the first 3 episodes of Gen V, which is a The Boys spin-off show on Amazon Prime. So far it is excellent! I was a little worried at first because I don't tend to gel with 'teen' shows at my ancient age of 40 but the satire, the characters and the story are hitting nicely.

@baconmash@aussie.zone as a chef, let's say you had to go somewhere for lunch in the CBD on Sunday, with a few friends, where would you go?
