The website introduces a new image file type which combines wide shooting angles with deep zoom into one picture with incredible depth, while reducing storage space to the maximum. Those images can be created with desktop software available from the 15th of March.

However:

The principal of creating deep pictures is registered for patent in Germany and Japan, where all major camera industry is settled.

Fuck patents.
