If you hear a clicking sound run. It's the onboard bomb detector.

Only 6,000 blinks? That's nothing but a watered-down scam-in-a-bottle preying on the naïve drivers trying to buy blinker fluid for their very first time. It has to be good for AT LEAST 10,000 blinks before I'd even consider putting in my car

[–] Nfamwap@lemmy.world 10 points 1 year ago

6,000 blinks in a BMW though. That's a lifetime supply.

[–] CoderKat@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago

Hey, where'd you find this? Do they have any that works on the rear blinkers?

[–] Norgur@kbin.social 42 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Is it blinking? If so, you made a grave error in the handling of your BMW.

You know the difference between a porcupine and a BMW?

Porcupines have the pricks on the outside.

5miles, that's like an entire 3min. I don't think it's supposed to stay on that long mate. Take it to the dealer and give them your credit card.

Did you watch the instructional video? These are just Christmas lights.

[–] son_named_bort@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago

You need to see the mechanic. Looks like you have too much blinker fluid.

[–] Turizmo@lemmy.world 13 points 1 year ago

You probably paid for the wrong subscription. Most BMW owners pay for the tailgating subscription, so they can stay as close as possible to the car in front. Just call your dealership and they can change the subscription from indicators to tailgating for only 499€.

Nevermind it turned off.

OMG! It's back, what do I do!

Nevermind...

Since it is mirrored it means you have to turn right. Dear god, do they just hand out driving licenses for free nowadays?

[–] Exusia@lemmy.world 10 points 1 year ago

No, daddy paid for it I think. He came home one day and said "here's ur car OP"

[–] Flumsy@feddit.de -3 points 1 year ago

Its not mirrored, what do you mean? The left blinkder is on

[–] bstix@feddit.dk 11 points 1 year ago

Press left horn.

[–] elxeno@lemm.ee 8 points 1 year ago

The left seat heater is on, just cancel the subscription.

[–] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

It's only a problem if it comes and goes. Then your headlight oil sensor is probably shot. Heads up: it's not a cheap fix.

It should switch off automatically after you've overtaken the other cars once the car blocking you moves out of the way..

[–] Valmond@lemmy.mindoki.com 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You can't explain that.

[–] middlemanSI@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

It would be so refreshing it there was only one make of cars with no blinkers used on the road!

[–] hungryphrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 year ago (3 children)

I know nothing about cars, can someone explain?

[–] Mr_Dark@feddit.nl 15 points 1 year ago

Found the BMW driver

[–] pinkwerdo@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

It's the turn indicator

[–] Karyoplasma@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 1 year ago

It's the light that reminds you that your left blinker is still on.

[–] Venat0r@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

I think that's the lane keep assist light, but it should be green on both sides, so I guess that means it can only see the left line, so be careful on left hand bends.

Don't worry, it's just an arrow pointing at the right speed to go through intersections at on the speedometer.

So much whooosh in these comments.
