Hey folks,

So, I recently switched from Windows to Linux and I gotta say, I'm pretty amazed by the difference it's making in game performance. One thing that's really caught my attention is how Linux seems to use way less VRAM compared to Windows. And the crazy part? Some games are running way better now!

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why this is happening. What's the secret sauce that Linux has that makes it more efficient with VRAM? Are there any specific tricks or settings that I should know about to squeeze even more performance out of my games?

I'd love to hear from fellow Linux gamers who have experienced this VRAM magic. Share your thoughts and any tips you have to make the most out of Linux gaming!

Cheers!

I'm not saying it is or isn't more efficient, but pretty sure the actual vram usage number between Linux and Windows is apples and oranges.
